Stuff You Heard on the Show
Interview with John James, Formerly of The Newsboys

This is a pretty amazing story. (Click here.)

How does a guy go from big-time "Christian rock star", with people waiting on him, celebrating him, practically worshiping him -- to selling little cakes door-to-door?  How do you preach the truth boldly in front of thousands, while addicted to alcohol and cocaine, and betraying your wife?

And how did his wife never give up on him?  And how does God restore people like him every day?

I know it's 45 minutes or so.  But it's not something you'll forget soon.  John James is really open, and happy to share his story, because it's God story now.

No worries. I'm just glad our site isn't doing something funky that it's not supposed to.

I'm a mom of two young children and I just now heard the whole interview because it's hard to come up with time to do it.
I love testimonies! There could be a whole channel on them like Biography channel.

I was struck by the very last thing he said which was that he wanted to reach out to the youth. Out youth group is trying to come back to life after some staff changes. I'd love for him to come to our church in Colorado Springs!
