Pablo was born in Germany and is the youngest of 7 kids.  When Pablo was two years old, his family moved to San Diego, CA where he lived until he was 35.  San Diego defined Pablo in many ways.  Every summer was spent at the beach and it was very normal to hop in the car and take a trip to Tijuana to enjoy tacos for lunch.

If you saw Pablo when he was 15 you'd have seen a guy with long hair, leather pants and metal chains everywhere.  He was a headbanger who spent most of the day "in another mental state" listening to metal bands. Not too excited about school, most days you'd find him "under the bridge" with his friends. Nothing good happened "under the bridge."

Pablo met his wife when he was. She lived on the other side of town so they spent every night on the phone. After dating for almost 2 years, they split up and went their separate ways, but Pablo would be the first to tell you, he never once stopped thinking about her.

With nothing planned for his post-high school days, Pablo ended up joining the Navy 2 days after graduation. After spending some time in Orlando, Pablo ended up getting stationed at NAS Miramar back in San Diego.

Ever since Pablo was a little kid he was fascinated with airplanes and dreamed of  being a pilot. At Miramar, he worked along side the fighter pilots from Top Gun, but while they were flying planes, he was filing papers. The closest he got to flying an F-14 was when they would get to taxi them around the runway and he got to sit in the cockpit.  It wasn't flying, but it was pretty cool.

While Pablo was in the Navy a friend of his introduced him to Amway and he became very focused on living a “getting rich.”  God had a lot more than that planned for him. At one of the weekend rallies Pablo attend the Sunday service and he finally met Jesus. After years of reading the Satanic bible and a period of studying Wicca, he found a real purpose in his life and true value in his existence.  "Not many people can say they became a Christian at an Amway rally."

Nine months before Pablo was scheduled to get out of the Navy, he reconnected with his high school sweetheart and fell in love all over again. Within a year they got married. Over twenty years later Pablo and his wife have 3 daughters and a granddaughter on the way. Still madly in love, they feel like, through all the "stuff" in life, they're one of the happiest couples around.  "We're always amazed at how happy we are with each other in comparison to the stories we hear from others."

Pablo was fascinated with radio but never believed he could make a career of it since he didn't have one of those deep "radio voices."  Every day he would drive to work listening to the two guys on the morning show and think "I can do that.” He eventually called one of the stations and talked to the morning show producer. He was extremely helpful and coached Pablo through the process of breaking into this business.

While Pablo was working full time during the week in the electronics industry, he landed a weekend job at a local radio station.  "I spent several years working seven days a week, just to be able to work in radio and I loved it."  When the opportunity presented itself, Pablo quit his job of 15 years and shifted into radio full time. "Make your vacation your vocation and you'll never work a day in your life."  Pablo thanks God everyday on his way to ‘work.’ "On my 18th birthday card, my dad wrote 'May your reach always extend beyond your grasp' and I live by that thought every day."  Thanks Dad!

Having fulfilled his dream to work in radio, Pablo focused on another one of his passions, to become a pilot. "A couple months after my 40th birthday that dream came true when I earned my private pilot certificate.
